Troubleshooting
#The menu does not open
- Check for a key binding conflict, or use
/fpsMenu. - Make sure
ensure mlr-fpsboosteris inserver.cfgand the resource started without errors. - Press F8 and look for red error lines.
#The test shows no change
This is a correct result when the FPS is limited by something other than the options. See the warning in Using FPS Booster: V-Sync, a driver frame limiter, or a borderless window locked to the monitor's refresh rate all hide gains. Frame times that stay the same in every test (for example 7.1 ms at 140 FPS) point to a limit.
#An option seems to do nothing
- Another resource may control the same effect (traffic density, shadows). Check for conflicts.
- Some options have a small effect by design (broken glass, ped decals, weather).
#Peds or vehicles are still around after switching the option on
The resource removes only ambient entities on the player's own client. Entities created by other scripts, shared over the network, or with a player inside are kept on purpose.
#Settings are lost
Settings are stored in the player's FiveM client. Clearing the FiveM cache or reinstalling FiveM removes them.
#Asking for help
Include the server build, the resource version and the F8 console error. Remove personal data from logs first.
