Troubleshooting

#ox_lib must be started before this resource

Put ensure ox_lib above ensure mlr-sit in server.cfg.

#Pressing U does nothing

#The marker is red

The hint on the left tells why:

Message Meaning
Too far away Walk closer, the spot must be within maxDistance.
Too high to reach The surface is higher than maxSitHeight.
Not in water The spot is in the sea, a river, a lake or a pool. Use the edge instead.
Too low The wall is too low to lean on, or the surface is lower than minSitHeight. Aim a little higher.
Not enough room Something stands where the body would be.
There is something in the way A wall or object is between the player and the spot.
You can't lean on this The surface is too tilted or is a person.
The vehicle is moving Wait until the vehicle stops.

#The back goes into the wall while leaning

Raise Config.FreePlace.leanBackDepth a little, for example 0.26.

#A held item (cup, cigarette) lags behind the hand

Items are moved to the hand every frame. A slight delay on fast movement is normal.

#An animation does nothing

The animation may not exist in your game build. It is refused automatically and a message is shown. Remove it from Config.SitAnimations, Config.LayAnimations or Config.FreePlace.leanPoses.

#The position editor does not open

#Something goes wrong with a custom target

Set Config.Target to the target you really run and make sure it starts before mlr-sit.

Set Config.FreePlace.debug = true, restart the resource and look at the F8 console.
